The www.freemap.sk project has been developed and operated by OZ. Freemap Slovensko since 2009. The goal of the project is to provide high-quality and freely accessible maps created from data of the OpenStreetMap project. In addition to map layers, freemap.sk offers many other features, some of which are available only to volunteers or those who financially support the project.
Premium access
Access to all application features can be obtained through volunteer work that is reported and approved in any Rováš project. For example, by mapping in the OpenStreetMap or OpenHistoricalMap projects, as well as in the Freemap project described on this page.
Work on activities for the Freemap project listed below, in addition to the standard reward in chronos, is also financially rewarded in proportion to its contribution to increasing awareness of the project.
- promotion of the project online or in traditional and non-traditional media
- creation of videos illustrating the portal’s features and how to use them
